Fuel prices have risen due to Middle East tensions and possible disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil shipping route. But many Nigerians ask why we must suffer from events thousands of miles away when the Dangote Refinery exists. Can't the government just sell crude to Dangote refinery in naira so it can in turn sell refined products to Nigerians at a cheaper rate at this period of crisis to reduce the suffering.
