Countries Reject Tinubu’s Ambassador-Designates Over Short Tenure Policy.

Several countries, including India, have reportedly declined to accept some ambassador-designates nominated by Bola Ahmed Tinubu due to policies discouraging envoys from governments with less than two years remaining.

Only the United Kingdom and France have granted approval so far. The situation has delayed postings for many nominees, including diplomat Muhammad Dahiru.
