Nigeria’s current minimum wage is about ₦70,000 per month. That means a worker earning minimum wage would need to save many months of their entire salary just to pay this school fee alone. And that is without thinking about feeding, rent, transport, or other responsibilities.We know nobody is forced to attend a particular school. But let’s also be honest with ourselves. What then is the purpose of all the taxes, revenues, and public funds being collected by the federal government
