Jesus taught us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who persecute us (Matt. 5:44–45). We don’t repay evil for evil because vengeance belongs to God. Instead, we walk in wisdom—“Wisdom is profitable to direct” (Eccl. 10:10)—trusting God’s justice.
