I took a look at the strain in the US-UK relationship on March 8, 2026 on Arise News. Is this a sign that the “special relationship” between the UK and UK is under pressure when Washington expects automatic support but London is trying to keep more distance?
I wonder if London could have said "no" to the US, much like I wondered in December 2025 if Nigeria could have said "no" to the the US strikes, if it had wanted to.
