Is Your Association, Foundation, Church, or Mosque Actually Compliant?
Numerous nonprofits hold the following beliefs:

"Since we are a nonprofit, we are not concerned with tax or regulatory matters."

According to Nigerian law:

✏ Nonprofits are still required to submit yearly returns to CAC.
✔ They have to keep accurate financial records.
Even if there is no tax due, they still need to file the required tax returns with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Nigeria.
