Troops of Operation Desert Sanity (OPHK) repelled a terrorist attack in Sambisa Forest at about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday. Special Forces engaged insurgents in a fierce firefight, repelling the assault without any casualty.

Exploitation revealed two terrorist corpses with blood trails. Recovered items: one PKT machine gun, three RPG bombs, 51 rounds of 7.62 x 51mm, 108 rounds of 7.62 x 54mm, two Baofeng radios, one Redmi phone, and three Airtel SIM cards.
