Like the Samaritan woman, we all come thirsty. We thirst for love, meaning, forgiveness, and peace. Too often we try to satisfy this thirst with things that cannot truly fill us. Lent invites us to return to the true source.When we come to Christ especially in prayer, the Word of God, and the Sacraments He gives us the living water that satisfies the deepest thirst of the soul and leads us to eternal life.
