I once rushed a neighbour who was having serious difficulty breathing to a nearby private hospital, only to find that no doctor was present, just nurses. After explaining the situation, one of the nurses called the doctor who owns the hospital and described the patient’s condition. To my surprise, the doctor began giving instructions over the phone while the nurse followed them to treat the patient. Is this normal?

Comfort Yako Asala: In my opinion as a layman when it comes to medical issues, it is normal. In order to wait until the doctor arrives before treatment begins could be fatal for the patient
