Lagos authorities have arrested eight individuals for environmental offences across the state.

Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said three suspects were apprehended in Ikorodu for tampering with drainage infrastructure during a monitoring patrol.

Five others: Felix, Quad Kareem, Daniel Victor Okon, Olamide Sodiq and Henry Eyen, were also arrested at Ebute Ero and Inner Marina for open defecation.
