#BurkinaFaso appoints Amir Abdou as new coach.

The former Comoros and Mauritania coach was appointed to the men's team and entrusted with qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. He arrived in Ouagadougou on the night of Monday, March 2.

#AmirAbdou was selected as the new Stallions boss from a pool of 82 candidates. He succeeds Brama Traoré, who was dismissed following the team's elimination in the round of 16 of the tournament.
