🚨 Manchester United U21 player Jack Fletcher has received a 6-match ban after calling a rival player a homophobic slur during a match in the EFL Trophy at the start of this season.

In the 62nd minute of the game, Fletcher became involved in a verbal altercation with a Barnsley player following a goal by his team.

Referee Will Davis was just one metre away when Fletcher shouted "you're a g*y boy" at his Barnsley rival. ❌
