Every day soldiers are killed, villages destroyed, and the country keeps moving as if it’s normal. The politicians children are safe, probably studying abroad or enjoying life far from the chaos. Maybe make it law: no one becomes a leader unless their own child joins the security forces. Then we’ll see if the fight against terrorism suddenly becomes a national emergency.
