In a press release, the State House confirmed the creation of Grid Asset Management Company Limited (GAMCO). According to the release, the Federal Government will wholly own GAMCO as a commercial enterprise, with shares held by the Ministry of Finance Incorporated. Furthermore, Niger Delta Power Holding Company will grant GAMCO the concession and lease of three power plants. TCN will grant GAMCO the right to develop, finance, and operate an independent power transmission line.
