According to Vanguard, a Nigerian news outlet, Osman Chennar, CEO of the joint venture DICON-D7G Nigeria Limited, inspected the proposed site for Nigeria's first military pier.
According to Vanguard, the official launch of the project is scheduled for June 2026.
