On March 3 #China and #Nigeria celebrated a beautiful blend of culture and the key role of women in social development at the "Happy Spring Festival: Lantern Festival - China-Nigeria Women's Carnival"

Over 300 guests enjoyed cultural performances, exhibitions and traditional Yuanxiao, highlighting women's contributions.

#UNESCO Representative in Abuja, Jean-Paul Abiaga, said the event showed how culture and education can strengthen links between both countries while promoting gender equality.
