DSS Detains Five Officers Over El-Rufai Airport Breach.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has detained five security officers from the police, DSS, immigration, & AVSEC for allegedly accepting bribes to grant former Governor Nasir El-Rufai access to restricted areas at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int'l Airport on February 12, 2026.

The officers confessed & have been handed over to the Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commission for prosecution, while others face admin sanctions.
