The Medical and Dental Practitioners Investigation Panel has suspended Dr. Tunde Majekodunmi, The Medical Director of Euracare Multi-Specialist Hospital in Lagos and two other medical professionals from practicing in Nigeria. The suspension was announced today after the panel established a prima facie case of medical negligence in the treatment of 21-month-old Nkanu Namdi, the son of author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the hospital
