On Twitter, there is an ongoing conversation about how most Nigerian can only access most books they want through piracy. Admittedly, piracy is wrong and illegal, as it deprives authirs from earning from their hardwork. However, the prevailing economic conditions have made it impossible for most people to buy books. Even students in tertiary institutions have to make photocopies. Nigerians are being priced out of cinemas, electricity, healthcare, and books.
This is not good at all.
