QatarEnergy to stop downstream production
Further to the decision by QatarEnergy to stop production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated products, QatarEnergy is stopping the production of some downstream products in the State of Qatar, including urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum and other products.

Johnwebb: This is why Europe wants to connect the natural gas pipeline southward to Nigeria. They have basically made up their mind not to import Russian energy anymore. I don't know what this has to do with Putin's erroneous remarks about Nigeria last year, but South stream 2 is definitely helpful to us
