Life has a way of teaching us, whether we’re ready or not. Sometimes the lesson comes through other people. Sometimes it comes through our own experiences. Either way, it shows up.

The problem is, when those lessons arrive, we often resist them. We cling to denial. We convince ourselves there must be another way around it, a softer version, an easier outcome. But there isn’t.

A lesson is a lesson. It stays until it’s understood.
