Man did not seek God for peace.
He was lost.
God sought man.
God came in the Person of Jesus Christ.
God became man to save man.
This is the gospel:
God is the Initiator.
God is the Giver.
Man is the undeserving recipient of grace.
This isn’t a transaction.
This isn’t a covenant.
This is pure GRACE.

Man did not seek God for peace. He was lost. God sought man. God came in the Person of Jesus Christ....
