Rufai and Abati are unlikely to choose Iran as their holiday destination; they would probably prefer cities in the Western world. Yet, in their commentary, they often defend Iran while sharply criticising the United States and Israel. Many observers see this as inconsistent. If one strongly supports a system or ideology, should personal choices not reflect that belief? Public commentary carries weight, and consistency strengthens credibility.
