The Benguela Gem, a marine diamond recovery vessel, has a deadweight tonnage of 14,700. It also has a gross tonnage of 20,503. The vessel is equipped with a subsea crawler that weighs "more than 100 tons" for its main and track frames.

The crawler itself is a complex piece of machinery with various assemblies weighing from half a ton to 58 tons.
