Chinese satellites tracked the movements of the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier as it departed the port of Crete.
The destroyers of the carrier strike group remain docked in the port.

Eight KC-135 aircraft, three RC-135 aircraft, two F-15 aircraft, and one C-130 aircraft were observed docked at Chania International Airport.
