26 Jailed, 15 Await Sentencing as LASG Arraigns 41 Arrested in Abule Ado

The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources has secured the conviction of 26 out of 41 persons arrested during a Thursday enforcement operation in Abule Ado.

The suspects were arraigned before a Magistrate Court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi. 26 pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 5 months’ imprisonment without an option of fine, while 15 others had their cases adjourned to March 26, 2026.
