Pakistan has declared the start of an “open war” with Afghanistan

Pakistani авиаtion carried out strikes on Kabul. In response, Afghan forces launched large-scale operations along the border and claimed to have captured more than a dozen Pakistani outposts.

The escalation comes amid a long-standing dispute over the Durand Line — a border drawn in 1893 that Afghanistan still does not officially recognize.
