The January 2026 Gas Production Status Report released by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) shows that Nigeria’s total gas production for the period stood at 233,961.5 million standard cubic feet (MMscf), a 1.0% year-on-year (YoY) decline from 236,315.1 MMscf recorded in January 2025.
