Truth is not absolute honesty, neither is it the presence of facts. Rather, it is the presence of realism even in the midst of imaginary creativity. This is simply because honesty can be false and facts can be wrong, but truth is an entity in itself and cannot be influenced because of it's basis in realism. This simply explains the verisimilitude in every true work of art. It is not just an appearance of truth, but truth devoid of the flaws of honesty and facts.
