UPDATED: Court adjourns El-Rufai’s arraignment to April 23

The arraignment of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, was on Wednesday postponed to April 23, 2026, after he was not produced in court.

Prosecutors said he is currently in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission. The defence sought to move a bail application, but the court ruled it premature since the defendant had not yet been arraigned.
