ECOWAS has officially confirmed July 1, 2027, as the target launch date for the ECO, a single regional currency!

This was conclusion from 12 member states CBN governors

Phase one could include: 🇱🇷 Liberia • 🇳🇬 Nigeria • 🇬🇭 Ghana • 🇸🇱 Sierra Leone • 🇬🇳 Guinea • 🇬🇲 The Gambia

But it’s not automatic — countries must meet strict requirements: low inflation 📉, fiscal discipline 🧾, and strong foreign reserves 💰
