Poverty Numbers vs. Lived Experience.

The Propaganda:
“We are implementing poverty alleviation programs.”

The Reality:
Food insecurity is rising. Middle class Nigerians are sliding backward. Youth unemployment remains alarming. Informal sector workers are absorbing the shock with zero safety nets.

When survival becomes the national occupation, policy messaging loses credibility.
