Nothing lasts forever in this world, not your beauty, not your wealth, not the people you disenfranchised, not health, not sickness, not youthfulness, not old age, not cars, not different kinds of friendships etc. Not even loneliness. All are passing. So when people teargas you and use might to intimidate you, remember that it's for a while. Sooner than they imagine, they will become history - if such honor will be granted them.
