Sometimes marriage is the only prison where the locks are on the inside and nobody seems to notice. There are people who are not in abusive marriages. Not in chaotic marriages. Not even in visibly unhappy ones.

Yet they feel stuck.

Stuck with someone they cannot talk to anymore without it turning into a fight.
Stuck with someone who stopped seeing them but still expects to be obeyed emotionally.
