Leadership is not the problem—character is.
When leaders:
• tolerate dishonesty,
• excuse corruption,
• ignore responsibility, and
• place personal gain above public good,
the moral foundation of the nation begins to collapse.
A society cannot rise above the values of its leaders.
And leaders cannot rise above the values they practice.
