Voter apathy in the FCT is becoming alarming. When people lose confidence in the electoral process, they withdraw. Many Nigerians doubt whether their votes truly count, especially with resistance to full electronic transmission of results directly from polling units. Transparency builds trust; lack of it destroys participation. If reforms that guarantee credible elections are ignored, democracy itself suffers.
