We called it ebelebor (fruit) tree and this particular one was in the guard room yard. On a Sunday we sneaked around and positioned ourselves to observe when any soldier is coming to alert Obukohwo who would climb the tree to pluck the fruits.

We just enjoyed those fruits but the trees were few in the barracks and soldiers and their families who lived closest to them claimed ownership and protected them from others even though they never planted them.
