You stop following up news and trends on social media
You become uninterested in family hassle and unnecessary crisis

but life keeps moving - whether you're interested or not.

You become unawares of vital societal, social and industrial shifts
You lose connection and touch with family
You become disengaged from your secondary reality.

Disinterest may feel like peace, but prolonged detachment can become ignorance.
