Police Launch Anti-Crime Patrol on Lagos–Calabar Coastal Road

The Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has launched a dedicated anti-crime patrol operation along the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Road to curb criminal activities on the corridor.

Four patrol teams have been deployed to operate round the clock, in addition to patrol vehicles already stationed on the highway since December 2025. The move is aimed at boosting security, ensuring rapid response, and protecting road users
