When did honesty become offensive?
I used the word “fat” to describe what was obvious—and somehow that was the problem. Since when did naming reality become cruelty?
If you’re unhappy with your body, your health, your stamina, don’t fight the words—fight the condition. I’ve been uncomfortable in my own skin before. I didn’t demand softer language. I demanded more from myself.
Sympathy won’t change your life. Discipline will.
If it bothers you, let that anger fuel improvement—not excuses.
