Tinubu’s Executive Order May Boost Federation Revenue by ₦14.57tn.

President Bola Tinubu has signed an executive order directing oil and gas revenues to be paid directly into the Federation Account, potentially increasing allocations by about ₦14.57 trillion.

The order affects remittances from Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and other agencies, scrapping certain management fees and funds to improve transparency and boost federal, state, and local government revenues.
