ADC chieftain claims there is a plot to arrest Amaechi.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain in Rivers state, Sunday Ohakwu, has claimed that Rotimi Amaechi's "increasing popularity" has unsettled the All Progressives Congress (APC).

On Wednesday, Ohakwu gave a speech in Abuja.

He said that Amaechi, a former federal minister and one of the ADC's top presidential candidates, is the target of a plot to have him arrested.
