Less than twenty-four hours after Julius Adamu, the PDP's candidate for chairmanship of the Bwari Area Council, resigned in favor of Joshua Ishaku Musa of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Zadna Dantani, the PDP's candidate for chairmanship of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), resigned in favor of Hon. Christopher Zakka, the APC flag bearer.
