The Senate’s position on electronic transmission of results reminds us of a simple truth: the leaders we elect shape the kind of governance we get.
Democracy reflects the choices of the people. When citizens vote based on sentiment, short-term gain, or party loyalty instead of competence and integrity, they should not be surprised by poor representation. Lawmakers are a product of the ballot. Vote wisely!
