To stop committing the sins you used to do, and to commit yourself to acts of obedience during Ramadan, does not mean that you are a hypocrite.

Rather, it means that you are honoring the sacred symbols of Allah, seeking the moments of His mercy, hoping for His compassion, and fearing His punishment.

Do not pay attention to those who discourage you, and ask Allah to grant you guidance that lasts a lifetime.
