Why do some people feel threatened by the success of a relative? Ideally, they should be happy, especially since it’s often said that success is contagious and can inspire others.
But is it because of Nigeria’s show-off culture? Does the way some people flaunt wealth and achievements make others feel insecure, pressured, or uncomfortable when a relative suddenly becomes very successful?
