To choose life today means to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Jesus. The "life" now offered is not merely long days in a land flowing with milk and honey, but eternal communion with God in heaven. The Cross is not a detour from life; it is the narrow gate that leads to it. Let us choose life this Lent. And let us choose the Cross always. Have a great day and God bless.
