As substantial number of Muslims and non-Muslims live together within shared communities, there is a growing need to seek guidance from the Qur’an and the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to better understand our role as Muslims.

In this context, Muslims should re-orient themselves toward inclusiveness rather than exclusivity, engagement rather than dominance, and kindness and mercy rather than extremism, harshness, or rudeness. Our conduct should reflect goodness justice and compassion.
