If Jonathan had signed this amended Electoral Act into law, the APC would never have kept quiet. Yet this one was passed with incredible speed and no hesitation. It’s hardly surprising, considering Tinubu once praised former INEC chairman Yakubu for conducting “credible, free and fair” elections despite public outrage. Now we’re told manual results at polling units are what truly count. So what exactly changed?
