I saw a post that said,
“A bad system doesn’t appear wrong to those who benefit from it. They’ll defend it, even when it harms the larger society.” And honestly, looking at what’s happening in Nigeria today, that statement feels too real.
Sometimes the strongest defenders of the system are simply the most comfortable in it. And that says a lot.

In recent times we have seen those aiders/abetters of bad governance cry sorrowfully when "Nigeria happens" to them.
